SRTurbo04
bent bars could mean it was crashed an flipped(common thing if u ride hard lol) 1500 is a really good deal actualyl so long as everythgin else checks out pick it up. worst case u can flip it preety easily since its got the 440 kit on it. it appeals to alot of people. great trail quad i woudl give it a go! even know its a Hon-DUHHHH

88lx5oh
dont buy it.. those 440 kits are nightmares. i had a 440 kit on my 400. they run hot, the blow head gaskets alot, they are high maintenance. just one, or ones that has bolts ons. they are fast with the 440 kit, but a PIA. ICEMAN1647545504
My cousin has the 440 kit on his and he has starting issues all the time... Make sure that it is all good with the bike and ride it before you buy it...
Sully
Ok, so 2 for yes and 2 for no. LoL. Not sure what to do. I might offer him $1,200 and see if he takes it. If not, I'll keep looking.

AWW$HEEET
How hard and expensive would it be to change that out? Guessing the 416 is just a stroker, 440 is bored. You would probably need the price of the 416 kit, plus price on a stock jug. This is IF the 416 is just stroked, and the 440 uses a different jug. street pilot
I'd pass on it personally. You know its been rolled or put into a tree and you know someone has had the motor apart. The killer is what you don't know.

spaulsen
What do you mean by "a lot of upkeep"? maintinence and constantly tooning, the 440 kits seam to need rebuilt quick. the guy i raced with has a 2000 400 ex with the kit and was constantly working on it. overheated alot too. he ended up selling it and buying a yfz450.... Sully
So now I'm thinking about looking at this: 2003 Suzuki Quadsport 400. The motor just got rebuilt. New piston, rings, valves and a new clutch was also installed. He has ridden it for about an hour since the rebuild. What are the thoughts on these? Does anyone know if these have push throttles or twist throttles?

Sully
$1,500obo is what he's saying. i like the thumb throttle. i didn't know if some came with thumb and some with twist or if they all come with thumb and then people convert them to twist.
