HAOLE
I took a trip to Baltimore this weekend in the Z06. I have to say I am really impressed with the MPG. 32.7! The 32.7 was on flat roads in the mountains I got 27.8 MPG. Why drive a Honda Civic and get the same MPG? http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k25/straightchiro/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG00585.jpg?t=1256578855
Sparky
Did you check it with the actual miles per fill?
HAOLE
Did you check it with the actual miles per fill? No I did not this time.... I have checked in the past and the numbers have been very close within 1 mpg
Bam
Did you check it with the actual miles per fill? +1, all of my cars that had this function were grossly miscalculated....just saying...

HAOLE
Busted. nothing busted at all..... the car says what it says. I have checked it in the past and it is close, not perfect, but close. Even if you calculate from this fill receipts you are still not accurate because the pumps do not fill to the same level each time.

Couldn't you go off of the the amount of gallons put in, and how many miles you drive on each fill up?
BlackBoosted2
I beleive it, my C5 has got 32-33mpg at 65-70mph numerous times, 80mph cruise it will get about 26-28. That is calculating it per gallons used/miles driven. Not just using the cars computer...although they are really close. Mine makes about 400whp too. It's all in the tune. My CTS only does about 24highway. I calculate every tank because I am a nerd like that.
Mallard
The cars computer should be pretty accurate because it knows exaclty how much fuel has been injected...unless you did some tuning on teh ECU and numbers are fudged. I've had seeral friends with F-bodys and Vette's that have seen the same results. p.s. Pushrods suck

thorne
100% stock should be pretty close honestly. Gratz. I'm envious I only got 28 on my last trip but that did include some mountains

Crossle
Sounds like a bunch of haters with 4 cylinders, or gas sucking V8's (Ford) upset because their car does not get 30mpg. That's really neat though.
Guest tbutera2112
i get 28 mixed in my 4cylinder...it makes 200hp less than that also... im jealous! curious, what kind of mileage do you get mixed?

AJ
i get about 16mpg city/highway/autocross LOL. normal highway is 30-32 in my Z. Ashley gets about 29-31 in her CTS-V highway. i also want to point out that i get 8-10mpg at nelson ledges haha
TTQ B4U
Nice! Just about 1-2mpg better than the 2.3t in the MS3. Downside for my car is 6th still revs too high IMO. 72mph at 2,800rpm. I suppose the upside is I can still pull pretty hard without shifting. However, I'd rather have it loaf along at 2k or so, but I'm no engineer and perhaps doing so would be hard on the motor if it began to go up a steep incline while in such a gear. nurkvinny
I got 30-31 almost every drive in my Z06. Made me laugh every time I saw an uber-green hybrid.

I think I am about 1600 @ 65mph and 1900 @ 80mph. I still pull up the mountains with no downshift. TQ FTW
kirks5oh
i'm not sure i'd admit the fact that i was able to squeeze that kind of mileage out of my new sports car. i guess a congrats is in order??

TQ FTW That would be nice to cruise with lower RPMS. Instead they give the MS3 280ft lbs at 3000rpm and keep it cruising close enough to it to make it available upon request. Z06G
I've got an intake combo and a full exhaust, still managing 31-33mpg highway.
