Akula
I had a friend that had 2 of those sharper image ozone air purifiers, his house smelled awesome all the time. They worked really well. Ionic Breeze - maybe?

They worked really well. Ionic Breeze - maybe? first hit on google http://www.walletpop.com/blog/2009/07/17/20-most-worthless-pieces-of-junk-6-the-ionic-breeze/ The Ionic Breeze was initially a major success, propelling shares of The Sharper Image to all-time highs, but the trouble began in 2002 when Consumer Reports tested The Ionic Breeze and found that the product was "ineffective." The Sharper Image sued, but after a series of courtroom setbacks settled the case -- by agreeing to pay $525,000 to Consumer Reports to cover its legal expenses. But that was only the beginning: A couple years after the Ionic Breeze expose, The Sharper Image itself reported that the machines could be dangerous because of the trace amounts of ozone they pump into the air. The huge amounts of negative publicity drove the company's sales into the ground, and the ensuing class-action lawsuit finally drove the company into bankruptcy on February 19th of 2008. Radio Flyer1647545514
We have air purifiers all throughout our house and they do an AMAZING JOB. Me and my mom both smoke cigarettes in the house. Most people who don't even smoke and absolutely hate the smell can't pick up a scent of it at all in our house. Diesel Pilot
I've been look for one too. Seems like this model uses some of the technology from the ionic breeze but it also actually moves air, and it has washable filters. I guess the replacement filter cost can add up quickly. http://www.amazon.com/Honeywell-HFD-120-Q-HEPAQuiet-Purifier-Permanent/dp/B000ANEPYO

87GT
I use these. They are only big enough for 1 room. I have 2 so far in different rooms running 24/7. They have a HEPA filter that can be changed when full. There is also a carbon filter to help with smells. It is great for animal hair and tobacco smell. There is even a digital filter reminder when it is time to change the filter. http://www.amazon.com/Honeywell-16200-Desktop-HEPA-Purifier/dp/B0000TMDY2/ref=sr_1_16?ie=UTF8&s=hpc&qid=1256923279&sr=8-

This air cleaner is suggested for use in a single closed room up to 110 square feet.
