How much for the beat up hids Bulbs still work?Whats the temp also

 

$40...sorry i fixed it. not sure if they do. they tow truck driver just ripped them out of the bumper when i wrecked it. 3 ballasts should still work fine though. the road rashed one should too, its just worn and ugly

Im undecided, but do have many ideas...I also still have my 5.3 shortblock that was going in my Monte. But i dont think I wanna crossbreed this one. So far I have started to strip the car down and just want to address the issues, fix, and clean up. Then put back together with a new driveline. :cool:

 

Im a little upset about a few things on the car and the overall condition. It is still quite solid, but not as advertised. I did look it over as best as I could, but put more trust in the guy than iI should have. I still try to think I made out regardless.

I traded my Dakota for it plus a couple hundred bucks. I inherited the truck and it had some issues, so I was looking for something else. Yet was trying to work on the truck and possibly keep it at the same time? Anyways, I talked with John for a few days about the trade. It all just sounded too good to be true and something seemed up. Well after talking with him so much and sharing stories. I started to like and somewhat trust the guy. So we set it all up and I ended up driving my ass from north of Delaware all the way to Chillicothe.

 

I passed him in town, followed, stopped in some lot, looked at the car briefly. Then I let him drive my truck around town to find some notary in the trailer park?lol We found her, went back to the clinic parking lot to wait for his gf's appointment to end? He drove the stang and showed me how to "operate" it lol. All seemed well and it seemed to just need a little love. He swore up and down it just needed tuned up a slightly, but would run 11.50's all day as is. I drove it to the bmv, looked over a little more and noticed minor issues. Which mainly seemed like neglect from him driving it daily.Swapped titles and off I was.

 

Then I left directly from there and went to see some friends at work.. Justin "evilstang" and Josh"flat tire". Showed them the car and josh drove it. They didnt say much, justin said it seemed solid and worth it for all the parts it had. But right after leaving it all seemed to go down hill. We noticed more leaks (vacuum and fluid), the tranny all of a sudden not shifting properly. I drove it like a sissy on my way to their work too. It was getting hot on the way home, didnt shift very good. etc etc etc BLAH BLAHBLAH BLAH BLAH just all kinds of stupid little shit that keeps popping up and irritating me. I just dont think it was as described. But I also should have looked it over better and wish one of my two mustang nutswinging friends would have came...like they said they would :mad: whatever...here is a link to the craigslist ad.

 

He told me it was a 331 btw (im still not sure...havent pulled the motor yet)

Oh and he was also supposed to drop off an aluminum driveshaft, drag shocks and other parts to Josh at work for me. I still havent heard back about that either. I cant descride everything about this deall in a thread in order because I just get mad and type what comes to mind lol if you wanna know more then call me fucker!

I sure did...and assumed so. I am not pressed about anything really. I just get irritated easy when thinking about it. Im pretty sure it still is a 306 too, im still gonna pull it and check the assembly. I dont plan on keeping that motor either. Regardless, I still try to think i made out because I traded my truck for it. That was worth MAYBE $2k and I didn"t really have a use or it.

how much for the motor? what heads are on it?

 

I havent decided that yet homeskillet. I wanna pull it and check the rotating assembly first. It supposedly has windsor jr.'s on it. I wanna try an trad them for sr.'s or something to better match my plans

wait...thats just a stock 302 motor isnt it?

 

Stock block im assuming? I havent touched shit under the hood yet. Was a 306 is all I know. Supposedly has an Eagle 331 rotating assembly in it now? I will be pulling the motor eventully to check things out, i also wanna know the specs on the cam
