Smith & Wesson MP15 22LR

i have been searching for a nice 22 rifle for her, so she can go put a ton of rounds through it. This ended up being the one we bought. Its light, 25rd mag, shots pretty accurate, and has a heavier barrel than the colt we were looking at.

This thing is fun as hell to put rounds through. it didnt like Federal American Eagle rounds too much, jammed one every 4 mags or so, but went through remington ammo without a hitch.

this thing will accomodate pretty much any AR accessory, grips, stocks, optics, whatever..

should be a great little piece to throw some cool gadgets on.

It's lame how they make it non-interchangeable so you can't add a real upper or different lower to it.

doesnt bother me, if i wanted a real AR i would have bought one.

i got this for her cause it is cheap to shoot but still has that look she likes, and it functions flawlessly.

next on the list is either a Sig Mesquito or Walther P22

Now you can play real life COD :).

Just needs a grenade launcher and a red dot site :)

im getting her a red dot site, sling, a vertical forend grip, a case, and some more mags for it eventually.

and like stated above ill be getting her a sig mosquito or walther P22.. so far im leaning towards the sig since the walther is a little smaller in her hands.

yeah very light weight.. the colt weighed a little over a pound more than the smith, but thats because its a stamped reciever and not polymer. and some of the buttons and things on the colt were for show and had no purpose, all the stuff on the smith works none of it is fake.

my big thing besides the weight issue is that the barrel on the smith is alot nicer, and its thick walled, the colt is thin walled and they try to hide it with a flash suppressor and other garbage.

plus the colt isnt even made by colt its made by some company called umarex..

Both the smith and the colt felt cheap in my hands, I would have suggested the GSG rifles for 22 fun

we looked at the GSG as well. it was on the list, unfortunately they had none to look at, at vance's. As well the Smith got better reviews. we are happy with the purchase
