I agree with this statement... Though I did once lose a nice Benchmade in someone's chest at Vance's a couple of years ago. I didn't go back much after that.

I go to Buckeye Outdoors mainly now.

I like it, very easy to shoot, easy to disassemble and clean, comes with 2 magazines, a bunch of accessories, and a nice case. I've put over 1000 rounds through it and never had failure to feed or failure to eject. I've shot blazzer brass, and 2 types of Federal through it. Being able to hold 17 shots of .40 is pretty cool to me. It feels really solid in my hand as the grip does not slip in my hand. I need to get some night sights on it though. The different grip inserts are cool, I have small hands so the small grip is on mine. It comes with a Small, Med, and a Large grip insert.

It's a pretty good gun for what it is. Never fit my hand quite right, but it shoots exceptionally well in spite of this.

I know a guy who can do those NS very well. The older XDs were quite problematic and Gander even broke a few slides because they didn't understand the dis-assembly. He used to work at NASR awhile back.

I like xds but I feel glocks fit my hand better. I don't really like the .40 I think the recoil is worse then a .45 at least in my experience. I really love 10mm rounds though and I would buy one if I had the money. Probably would need a reloader to fuel my addiction to shooting them!

You have never shot a 10mm then have you........ If you don't like the 40 because of the recoil you're going to HATE the 10mm.....lol

I have shot a 10mm Smith and Wesson. I don't remember what model it was but it was one of the workers at NASR personal carry gun. I am only comparing that gun to an HK USP .40. I haven't shot any other .40.

I've only shot the Glock 10mm and it kicked a good bit harder than my Glock 22.

The 40 came from the 10mm. The FBI cried and said their hand hurt everytime they had to shot a bad guy with their 10mm so to make a long story short the 40 was born.....

That 10mm was also a full size gun compared to my USP compact that you're used to.

Most likely it was a 1911 or a Glock 10mm. Who owned it?
