LJ
brownings make NICE shotguns. I want a browning over/under so bad!!! I have a Citori Sporter that my dad bought me for shooting an average 42/50 for a sporting clays season when I was in high school. That said, I refuse to take an $1800 gun into the field. I handled the Remington 870, the Mossberg 500 and the Browning at Buckeye Outdoors today. Neither of them compared to the quality of the Browning. I would say that most would be hard pressed to find anything near this quality in the price range ($250-500). The action is so smooth, it feels like you could work it with just 1 finger. copperhead
That first pic is too small, can't see anything.
LJ
That first pic is too small, can't see anything. Oddly enough, it's already been resized twice. Something is screwed up and the internet resizers I use won't make it any smaller. Plus, the whole point of the pic is the Browning emblem. LJ
you didn't like the new rem 887 ?? my roommate just got one and i thought it was a nice piece I looked at it, didn't even come close to the Browning in terms of quality, esp for the price. The Browning was on sale for $
cinergi
The only gun I like better than the Browning is the Weatherby and even then the Browning is only a close second. Great choice for the money. I thought the new Remington was a joke when I played with it, but give it a few years and they will perfect it. Remington rarely gets things right in the first production model with their shotguns. Their bolts are a completely different story. I digress, again... Excellent choice!
