Mr. Jones
If you don't mind carrying around a lead weight, you can always pick up a Hi-Point brand new for that kind of money in any caliber you desire.
TurboRust
yeah I've heard that, I guess I was looking for a used slightly more quality gun.
Mr. Jones
Might scour vances or gander for a deal. They usually have a few specials at any given time .
88lx5oh
i dont know if they have any used, but a s&W sigma might be in your price range used. i know at vances they are $269 new in 40 or 9mm
1fast5gp
you just have to wait for police trade ins at vances. They had berreta 96FS there a few months ago for 250.

Guest Hal
You should run to Vance's. I'd bet you can pick up a Ruger in that price range.

88lx5oh
sigma's are about the biggest piece of junk you can buy, next to a high point. blah! they arent that bad.. for the money its a decent gun, the trigger pull is just retarded heavy.. and the pistol itself is heavy as hell
cinergi
Save that $200 and add money to it later. Trust me, you'll thank me. Even as a gun dealer I rarely found stellar deals around that price. I am not saying it can't be done as I've definitely been in the right place at the right time. It just doesn't happen often anymore. You will have to find someone who has to sell for rent money or someone who just doesn't know what they have... cinergi
sigma's are about the biggest piece of junk you can buy, next to a high point. blah! Sigma's are completely misunderstood. While they are definitely not a high point, they are definitely nothing excellent either. They were STRICTLY designed to be a defensive gun that is tucked away and used when needed--that work when they actually need to work. (Unlike the high points.) The awful trigger pull? That's there to make sure you actually WANT and INTEND to shoot at what you're aiming at... It's a form of safety for nervous people or people that don't handle guns often. stolen 5.0
I wouldn't trust a sigma from anything over 8 feet away. I had two .40, both shot 18 inches low left from 20 feet. I even had a few different people shoot the guns. Derek, save your money and get a glock.
