evan9381
sounds like my car did when i had a rod snap out of nowhere in my old car. completely stock hold for a CAI. was sitting at a light in westerville on my way to work, light turned green, i got to about 2k-2500 rpms and BAM. pulled into an alley and saw a fist size hole on the front of my block. 3200 miles out of warranty too. Steve R.
Did it break just then, it almost sounded ok right at first? IDK i've never heard a broken rod before.... BAH this is Crossle Sounds like it just happened, almost like he was trying to get a vid of a rod knock and it snapped, plus that is a lot of oil to drain if it was already broken. GonneVille
If you guys watched all the way to the end, you might have noticed the chunky-style on the ground under the car. He blew a rod out the side.
Clifford Automotive
It didnt just happen. It was knocking at startup, then snapped. I let one loose and split the block in half, hole in the block doesnt count. If your going to do it you've got to do it right!
