Diesel Shop reccomendation

I just bought a cheap 98 GMC Suburban 2500 4x4 with the 6.5L Turbo Diesel to use as a tow vehicle.

The truck runs great but has a SES light P0216 (Injection Timing Control Circuit)

It starts easily, does not smoke, runs strong and the clatter is a bit loud on cold start so I am guessing that the timing is a bit advanced.

I logged some data on my scanner and it seems to tell the same story

At fully warm steady state idle condition

Actual IP timing is 23.1

Desired IP timing is 10.3

TDC offset is 5764.7 ??? (should be inbetween -2.5 & 2.5)

I am guessing that the pump is clocked too advanced, is mounted one tooth off, or the stepper motor took a dump.

I plan to loosen the Injection pump up this weekend and rotate it slightly to see if i can get Actual and Desired IP timing to match. My Diesel knowledge is pretty limited so if that does not work I would prefer to just take it somewhere and get it fixed.

Any suggestions for a good diesel shop in Columbus with 6.5L TD experience?

im thinking the stepper motor, crank sensor so on...with the values out that far...

has the code always been there or just out of the blue?

I just bought the truck and the previous owner just had replaced the Injection pump, PMD, & injectors.
