Looks good. Ill be following this.

What trans do you have on it now? The W58?

Also, what turbo from DM do you plan on getting?

(I love driftmotion. Aaron is such a big help to the supra community)

Also, is that headgasket a composite one for the ge or is it a metal one? Ive heard HKS makes the best MHG's, but ive personally been runnnig a cometic for about 17,000 miles now with no problems.

Right now im running a w58 and its served me well for my current power level but after the build it will probably not last very long with what im doing. R154 will be swapped in. I may just do a TT MHG but im not 100% sure, depends on what i want to do i suppose.

Jason, can you get me a price shipped on the soarer r154? i dont need the flywheel clutch and all that jaz.

He called me back today at 8:30am either way, he only has one and its 1400$ and standard ground shipping if you found one is 180$. I really had no idea that they are this expensive because I only paid 300 for my mint complete soarer tranny from the same place just 4 years ago, then when I made a posting for my tranny I recieved 30 some emails within 2 days about it. I ended up making money on the tranny! Either way on lexus forums there is a broken shitty looking r154 soarer for 700$ and ebay has one now for 1900$ why not just go supra r154 andbuy the bracket and shifter relocation?

yea for that much ill just end up buying a supra r154 and deal with all the changes. supra r154's can be had decently cheap thankfully. the price of soarer transmissions are ridiculous now for no reasons. its almost cheaper to buy a manual motor set and then part out the motor.

if you come across the bracket and shifter relocation some where let me know, they seem to be getting hard to come across now.

Is that a spec 3? In the past I had issues with spec clutches, I did some reasearch online and see nothing but good reviews with the rb community with the spec clutches now. I ended up buying a spec hearing they had come a long way in the past years, I am just hoping its a decent as people are saying. Whats your input on them?

Its a spec stage 3, you know your clutches. I really liked the clutch, held really well never slipped and looking at it it really with held all the abuse i put it through. The only cons id say personally is its just too soft. it seems way softer then the OEM clutch was. now that i figured out the reason why it was making noise i guess i cant really hate on the clutch.

Are you sure you did not do something correct? my spec2 was stiff as my act2600 or more. For rb the spec3 is good for 515 ft/lbs or torque
