zeitgeist57
I've been looking online with how to replace the fuel filter in my Caravan. Older 'Vans had integrated fuel lines in with the filter, and was located on the gas tank itself. However, for some strange reason 2005 and later Caravan's don't have a fuel filter listed on any parts sites I've checked (Autozone, advance, rockauto...) If it doesn't need a fuel filter, please explain to me why. This would definitely be the first modern vehicle I've seen that doesn't use anything after the fuel pump to filter fuel. Engine is 3.3L V6, non-Flexfuel. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
nurkvinny
Do you have stow-n-go seats? If so, it's in (or on?) the tank and they 'claim' no need to change it.

zeitgeist57
Wow.... It's not stow-n-go...basic non-grand Caravan. I guess the hesitation is from 116kmi and years of shit built up against the injectors.
Guest Removed
clean the Throttle body real good. and tune up parts etc. but IMO, the 3.3 is a bit of a dog period when you have to mash the go pedal
zeitgeist57
No doubt, Rob...but it's powering my "people mover". The fact it accelerates better than most from 0-50mph is all I need. It's actually got 117k+ miles on it...as long as it lasts another 117k I'm good. This is definitely the first car I've ever gotten that I haven't tried to get more power out of...just basic maintenance.
Guest Removed
maintenance is the key plus parts for those are cheap.
