So please explain why you don't recommend it, and what would be a better option! I do a lot of texting pic/vids too. fwd everything! My current phone has the mobile version of the internet -this feature was cool for the first month it was out. I use VZ Navigator some times. Any suggestion? I would rather have an Eris over a droid, only problem is that the Eris is still on android 1.5 and the Droid is on 2.1. Eris having HTC Sense helps, but the Eris might get the 2.1 update soon. This. Another reason I personally wouldn't get the Droid is because it's a big phone. It dwarfs every other phone that I know of. I don't want to have anything in my pocket or have to talk on anything that's bigger than it needs to be. Hard keyboards take up a lot of space. If you ride the curve, you don't really lose a whole lot phone to phone. Just sold my TP2 for $3xx, which more than paid for my droid, and put cash in my pocket.
