Yeah, I bet that's what everyone is happy about. Or maybe its it's because its a completely worthless vehicle.

BTW...I talked to everyone in America yesterday: They would rather see Hummer die than operate under Chinese ownership. True story... ;)

 

EDIT: At least now GM still controls ownership of the brand. If SUV's take off again in the near future, they could always boot up the division again...

they sold fewer than 7k units in 2008. They will not be missed.

 

 

Also, the U.S. is really the only place in the world that is interested in 3 ton SUVs. Most roads elsewhere in the world simply aren't made for such large passenger vehicles. Not to mention that everywhere else in the world has super-expensive gas.

It was a novelty vehicle that is it. The H2 and H3 were about worthless, only good for trying to fool people into believing you had a REAL hummer (H1 Mil spec).

 

GM is run by abunch of morons..........lets cancel the Pontiac Brand ( which is a better looking and more appealing car) and keep Hummer and Saab, and try to unload Saturn. Should've gotten rid of some of the shitty looking Bowties and kept Pontiac.

or what they could've done instead of selling the SAME EXACT CAR with different brands on them, would've been to create some variety within the brands instead of sharing every single part among every car. Ford has done an excellent job separating Lincoln from Ford, for instance, by making sure that even though they are very similar, their image is completely different.

 

When people look at an Escalade, a Yukon, and a Tahoe, they see the same car. When people look at a Navigator and an Expedition, they see 2 different things.
