Forrest Gump 9
Hi guys Last Sunday I took my car out for a spin. Stopped by the local supermarket, park away from other cars. Monday morning come, saw two key mark scratches on my rear passenger door. Both of them was about two inches long. Not all the way down to the metal. Just wondering if there is any good place to get my car fix? I wouldn't care, but my car is black and it's an eye-sore and the wife bugging me to get fix. Thanks in advance and have a good day. PM a couple of the guys in the detail section....they can do wonders with some touch up paint and a buffer. Start with Andy aka Audion19's or 88lx5oh. Todd Cooperrider is on here too. Clifford Automotive
If the detailers cant do some touch ups and buff on it, bring it over. As your describing it, it sounds as if a controlled wet sand and buff may do the job.
LS_Sonoma
Doesnt sound like a keying...should be easily fixed according to the details also.
Clifford Automotive
You'd be amazed. I got payed 600 to buff the side of a Jeep out after it was keyed!
GSXRAntwon
If its on the Evo, it has enamel paint and cannot be "buffed" out due to lack of clearcoat... Sorry to hear about this Pham
Clifford Automotive
Enamel can be "buffed" just like Clear. Its actually recommended to maintain finish.
