Stampede
I bought a battery the other night, cause my car wouldn't start. And I thought the battery dead on me. It was after 9:00 at night, I was stuck at a gas station, so I bought a battery from a certain brand store, in hopes of fixing my problem. I couldn't get the batter cables off, so I had the car towed home. Of course that wasn't my problem, and now the store will not return the battery if it test good. So how do I kill this battery? I called some other stores, and they said they would not have a problem with returning it. Thanks.

nurkvinny
Did they tell you there were no returns? Did you ask? Did they do the diagnostics, or did you just say, "fuck it, I'll try a battery"? This topic is shady and belongs in the Tech Section, if anywhere. Thanks. if you kill the battery theyre just going to exchange it out for a different one...your best bet is to just resell the battery and take a loss on it...sorry to say

SinisterSS
with the right battery tester you could enter a higher CCA number and it'll always test bad, then print off the results
Richard Cranium
Drain it and put it in the freezer for a couple days?
