ansonivan
- plugged cat - check by removing the o2 sensor to check for an improvement in revability - timing belt slipped Ha!
Guest Removed
How the heck did the belt jump a tooth? Glad it was a easy fix. it was rather oily... but it also had a odd groove worn in it . but once we got the lower cover off, we found someone dropped a bolt down the timing cover. and it wasnt a bolt off the car either. its was a 3/8 , 3/4" bolt.. but it had been there for a bit, i figure it was from the owner before hand. much better then finding a mouse jammed in it.. that makes a mess
Xyster101
much better then finding a mouse jammed in it.. that makes a mess A random bolt. I lost a wrench on my bleeder valve for 5 months once, till I crawled back under the truck and took it off. Need to take a picture next time you find a mouse in there. SmokeShank
nice that you got it fixed. i was doubting it was a cat and it wouldnt throw a code for that anyways. it has no post o2s for monitoring cat effiency since its obd1
