Im using a canon Rebel XT

I was using my 75-300 lens, and just getting the settings figured out and working good for me so far. I don't own a lens hood(yet) but for some of them I used a Circular polarizer.

 

I've got a battery grip, with a few extra batteries, an 8GB Card, an eye piece extender, and the polarizer.. that's it as of now.. I maybe have 800 dollars in everything (i got the camera used with the 75-300 lens from a friend of mine that rarely used it)

 

If i can find my roommates I/S lens like the one's i have.. i'm going to take and try them out. The only I/S (which is image stabilization) is what comes in the camera.. and it's not that great.. which you can tell by some of the pictures.

 

It's fun.. Just a hobby for me

 

I'm looking for another lens, with the I/S that I can use as a "work horse" lens. For mid- medium long distance photo's. But I've also thought about upgrading the body.. and getting a better platform to start with, with the better guts and stuff. I don't know.. kinda hard to spend 2K on a camera.. when I work full time and go to school full time haha

We broke a throttle body. Price we pay for putting a Ford part on our car:D What's funny is the DSM who was pitted next to us also broke a throttle body on his qualifying was before us. His was a BBK and ours was an Accufab.
