Otis Nice
- Filling Station (pizza joint. The owner is awesome. Comes out and busses his own tables and sings while he does it. Clears a table in seconds. Good little show. Haha.) - Dick's Last Resort (Hilarious. They insult you and such. Not for the easily offended.) - The Blarney Stone (Good drinks, pub atmosphere.) black00ws6
Been there every year of my life. How much are you wanting to spend?? We stayed here last year.. http://www.northbeachtowers.com/ Place was AMAZING. I would probably only stay here or at the Marriott villas when we go to MB in the future as most other hotels are getting old. Island Vista is real nice too, it's probably only 5 years old. http://www.islandvista.com/ The pool is a little small though. For places to eat.. There are really only 3 places that we go to every year... Rioz - brazilian steakhouse Drunken jacks - small seafood joint with their own boats docked behind the place Capt georges - best buffet in MB Broadway at the beach is pretty fun.. there is a place there called liberty steakhouse, food is meh, but they have their own brewery. So hit up the bar for happy hour and have appetizers.
dragknee66
Nothing fancy needed. Honestly it may just be me going for a few days and I could stand a place off the beach even. Just need some relaxation and a few days to lay out and tan (I sound like a chick now hah)
OSUGT
Try to get over to the gulfstream cafe for lunch or dinner. Great food, nice prices, terrific view and atmosphere http://centraarchy.com/gulfstream.php We always stay at the Breakers on ocean blvd. Its within walking distance of rivercity cafe, and dirty don's! I'm jealous. Have a great time!

CRed05
If you are looking for nightlife, you will be deeply disappointed. You have to go to this one place nearby that has a Pyramid shaped Hard Rock cafe, which is pretty cool place. But I had fun there cause its by the ocean, its relaxing, nice weather, and had a blast renting the scooters and riding all over the place with them. Wear a helmet though, my buddy got pulled over for not wearing a helmet, made for a funny picture. I liked the place we stayed at and would recommend it if I could only remember WTF it was called. Archie
Broadway at the Beach is pretty money. Anyone who didn't like this place is either gay or has an extreme fear of talking to girls.

More or less just looking to relax for the few days. Ide be happy with a decent place to stay, a beach close by and some decent places to eat. Drewhop
Broadway at the beach is awesome. We stayed down in Surfside South Carolina. I loved it down there. Was more relaxed family friendly area. Beaches seemed a bit cleaner as well then some of them in North Myrtle.
Vlad
Just got back from Myrtle Beach. Been there about 15 times now. I was in north myrtle beach at a place called Sea Cabins. Personally I like that place alot because the beaches arent jam packed, and you have your own private pier which I fish on everyday.
Otis Nice
Blarney Stone is the on Boardwalk At Broadway too. That whole area is legit.
TimTaylor751647545500
http://www.northmyrtlebeach.com/ http://www.northmyrtlebeach.com/Buena-Vista-1brof.html Just to go relax and enjoy the sun & beach, can't beat renting from Grand Strand. My family and I always rent from them and you can get your 3 nights at the Buena Vista (where I stayed last year) for $415. Ocean Front and in Cherry Grove...which is a nice quiet area away from all of the party scene. Here's the view from our balcony (which all condos have at BV) North http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs174.snc1/6533_262575120650_703375650_8439938_5222373_n.jpg South http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs194.snc1/6533_262575105650_703375650_8439936_6484088_n.jpg The Cherry Grove pier has a nice little bar/restaurant to chill and throw back a few that's about 1/2 mile south of this location. An easy walk without having to worry about parking.
Snowflake
If you're just looking to chill stay in Surfside Beach and drive into Myrtle when you want. Its like 10 minutes max.
2 Sweet
Broadway at the Beach is awesome. Hard Rock Cafe is sweet too. But Dick's Last Resort is fucking gay, most of their "insults" are lame, recycled, and generic. I mean it's a good laugh for a minute when they diss you and your buddies with those paper hats, but then after you get you're wayyyy overpriced food you're just bored with the whole thing and want to leave. I stayed at the Wyndham resort in North Myrtle and it was really badass
wnaplay1647545503
We have stayed in litchfield for almost 30 years. Its closer to pawleys island and a much more relaxed, secludid atmospher once you get away from myrtle beach. Plus you can still do the myrtle beach thing since its about 15 minutes away. nurkvinny
Yep, Broadway at the Beach is where we spend most of our time (even more than on the beach). http://www.broadwayatthebeach.com/propertymap.aspx
evan9381
i wouldnt want to stay anywhere where i had to drive to the beach. we stayed at the best western right on the strip (grand strand). pool/lazy river, free breakfast (not great, but it worked). we crossed the street, walked thru another parking lot then hit sand i cant even remember the places we went while we were there. we went a little north and had some really good sushi. did some fishing and a lot of sitting on the beach

A-ma-zing. +1 Benjamin's is fucking awesome and there's one pretty much anywhere you stay. I think I ate about 3 lbs of crab legs, 4 bowls of clam chowder, half a dozen crab cakes, shrimp pasta and to top it all off, Yuengling on tap! Def worth the $26 price tag. http://www.originalbenjamins.com/ And if you stay up north, check out Duffy Street Seafood Shack...amazing food. I got a crab cake sammich that was fuck awesome. http://www.duffyst.com/

KentStateTsi
The Apache pier in Garden city usually has 2 live bands. One at the front and another out at then end. 2 bars total. Sams corner hot dogs right across the street is awesome after a few drinks. Very laid back place. broadway at the beach/Kyrptonite area is where most of the hype is now.
