Tripleskate
Did you buy the harness for an extra $15?
Kevin R.
What is the harness for?
Tripleskate
What is the harness for? I *think* it's a plug 'n' play type harness which effectively takes any wiring out of the equation.

Nitrousbird
http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a343/brealistic/fufu246.jpg It's not very hard to adjust your headlights down. I have HID for the headlights and fog lights for the Avalanche...I don't get anyone flashing their high beams at me.
04silvrz
damn. i paid 30 for DS2 bulbs upgrades.
CRed05
First time I replaced the HID bulbs in the S4 I paid $90 a bulb... The Disco has an aftermarket HID kit, they are bright as crap but the stock housings seem to cast the light in a way that's not blinding to everyone else. 99FLHRCI
I ordered a set of the 35w for low beams and 55w for high beams. The kits are all directly plug and play. The wiring harness (which I ordered 1 of) is mainly for the 55w kits. It just prevents you from cooking your factory harness with the intial charge that they take to fire up. I LOVE them. I got Dad a set for Father's Day and can't wait to put them in.

Skinner
do you have to have a separate bulbs for low beams and high beams?
Kevin R.
do you have to have a separate bulbs for low beams and high beams? I think for certain applications you do. I know for the 9007s my truck takes it they have two options -- one for Hi/Low operation and one which appears to just be low beam.
Tripleskate
do you have to have a separate bulbs for low beams and high beams? I think there are only two types of bulbs that are dual function, my friends 99 Miata is that way, I believe his car uses 9005? MOST cars use two bulbs. Fubar231
do you have to have a separate bulbs for low beams and high beams? some cars are seperate bulbs, but my supra has hi and low in the same bulb, and those get fucking pricey for hids. dover
My cobra's has HID's that utilize the same hi/lo bulb and it cost close to $300 for the kit.
