TimTaylor751647545500
Just changed out the front pads & rotors in my cousin's '04 2.0 Jetta. The pedal now goes to the floor during test drives and pumping the brakes isn't making any difference really. Any suggestions?

TimTaylor751647545500
Yup...looks at though the master cylinder could be bad.

Clifford Automotive
Never seen those when Ive done Amys car. Derek, I never got back to you. Once I tore it down it only needed the bearing. I had a press across the street.
wnaplay1647545503
Did you crack the lines (or open any lines) on the calipers when you were putting on new pads or just push the cylinders back in? Doesnt make sense for it to go out at the exact same time you were working on it. I assume it wasnt doing that before?
Bam
Jason, haven't you learned working on cars doesn't make sense most of the times? I did pads/rotors on my car, was worn down but drove fine before. The new thicker pads/rotors caused my caliper to start burning them up, resulting in nasty smells and smoke.. Ala a new caliper was needed. While replacing the caliper found out the original flex line was junk and needed done...so yeah, knew nothing of it before I replaced the fucking pads and rotors, few hundred dollars later I was back on the road, fuckin' cars i tell ya.
