rb26deet32
I have a few heads I want to part together to make one good head. My good head is a '01 ITR head, I have super tech valve train from one bad head and ferrea valves from another one. I want to clean up the good head, maybe p&p it a bit, straighten it out and throw in the valve train. I just need to know where to go. I was told today to go to NAPA... riiiiggghhhtt So yea, where should I go? Thanks. Brent
rb26deet32
From the looks of it, NAPA is the only place that does machine work. That's a little odd.

200
M&M +1 the guys at my work w/ actual purpose built race cars swear by them. I guess they are cheapish too. They will be doing my Nissan head and block shortly so I will let you know how goes
KennyFKINPowerz
M&M +2. They used to always do our machine work on the race motors back in the day. They are a good quality shop.
rb26deet32
Going to give them a call monday or tomorrow if they are open on Saturday. Not likely though. And to the nissan guy, what all are you having done? I'm looking for a normal p&p, valve jobs, resurface, hot tank and install retainers, valves, springs. Hoping it wont be some stupid amount of money though.
Tinman
M&M is not open on Saturdays, Mike is a racer too and spends his weekends on the track or prepping for it.. Best time to reach him is between 9:30 and 10 am Mon-Fri.
200
Bore 40 over, deck head, valve job. I dropped them the long block so they can do assemble/disassemble there. Also, I have ACL bearings and ARP studs they are installing with the new pistons/rods. I'm sure they can do all that, but it is still racing season so it probably won't be super fast. IVRINGS
Does anyone know the kinda pricing he does for things? Seems he did Shanton's stuff so I should be good giving him a 1.
