I tiled my bathroom floor and I had never done it before. Its not really hard, you just have to be patient and plan first and make sure it is perfect the first time. I just remodeled a bathroom from scratch a couple months ago - did a tile floor + tile floor to ceiling shower wall. It wasn't all that bad to do, and I had never done it before.
