hpfiend
Anyone know what these guys are using for rearends and transmissions to handle this sort of abuse? Are they just using beefed up front-engine transmission with a really short driveshaft to a semi rear or something like that? Or are they using some sort of transaxle like porsche/ferrari/fwd variants/ They aren't running right off the crank to the differential are they? Thanks, Andrew
Benner
Most of the high horse power kit cars I've seen that are mid/rear setup use porsche transaxles. Seems like this may be the way to go.

wagner
Glide and the rear end of your choice from either strange or mark williams maybe. The driveshaft might be based on the dragster you get.
