A wing like this would still be every bit as functional on a FWD car. i think he ment since the cars that you see on the street have never been to a track. The nagain, function vs. fashion is always going to be an ongiong thing. Some cars look "unusual" but function much better than soemthing that looks JGTC but sucks. From what I remember the thing is a beast on the track and cost them like nothing to build. If I am right I has also won its fair share of time attack events taking out some serious cars along the way. On a side note I have never had a problem with wings and splitters as long as they some what flow with the car and dont look like alot of the primered pos hondas running around on steelies with a wing and a fart can on the back. Hell when I was thinking of getting a lsx swapped rx7 I was gonna run a wing, splitters and what not for the extra downforce.
