I tried finding my original thread but had no such luck. Anyways we painted this 65 stang for my dads buddy that lives in Dayton. I laid the base and my dad laid the clear. Overall the car came out pretty nice, it was a full fledge restoration

Haha thanks, and pm me if serious. I didnt wanna post up "oh hey we paint cars" since 1. I am not a sponsor and 2. Didnt wanna step on sponsors toes

...

I may actually be interested in this car. Well the other half of me...

Has it been cut and buffed yet? The clear on the fender looks awfully thick.

This is black paint.

If you pay sponsor dues we can stop this from happening

The car had 2 new 1/4s welded in, all new red interior put in the car. I'll find out from my dad tomorrow as to what motor ended up being in the car, it had a 289 in it when we was painting it, but owner was searching for 390. It was a 4 speed car and over all a nice car. I guess he has a old Impala he wants us to paint now, so maybe ill post pics up of that once its done as well.

I just did the paint, my dads buddy paid $500 dollars for the above pictured car when he bought it. Sold on ebay earlier this week for 24k, had far less then 24k in the car, but profit is always nice.

How much do you charge to buff a car out? I am terrible at buffing lol, well not the worse at it, but that pic you posted looks good and i'd like my teg to have the same results. Pm me a price

I was telling him that if he was a sponsor like you...

O I C

Josh, the picture you see is more then just a buff job, it all started with nice paint.

I'll teach you how to buff your car if you have a buffer and your interested.

There's a 79 TA on Craigslist right now for 500 complete, I was thinking about picking it up and flipping it. Just have a lot of other projects going on right now.

I'm lost, was Cliffords response supposed to be a "diss" towards me? I didn't see it as that if it was then whatever I could give a fuck less really.

No, what I was saying in a joking manner was if you paid sponsor dues I could keep him out of your threads. He's the paint sponsor and you had just posted that thing about stepping on toes so I tried to make a funny that obviously failed.

Ah ok, I have a buffer, the only problem is its not variable speed.

$500 isn't bad older muscle cars are going for a fortune right now. My dads buddy owns Dons American Muscle in New Lebanon, what he basically does is finds any "muscle car" and either restores them and sells em, or buys em for parts and sells the remaining parts. He bought a convertable 66 stang that was litterally snapped in 2 right in the middle and sold that to a guy in florida for 4600 bucks. I can not believe the price old mustangs go for especially the fastbacks.
