I had 300 dollars in the entire turbo setup. I did everything except tune it, free dyno helped alot knowing someone with a dyno. Plan was to take it to the KYHorsepower shootout last winter, made 28 passes on the dyno on the stock 20 year old clutch and it held great, first pull on the street and it gave out and i didnt get to take it or use my slicks. Mojoe
Now that's a pretty good intro. I like the crafty $300 approach on the CRX, it's respecable. And you aren't coming off saying it's crazy fast yo. Welcome and +1 rep. Good recovery
Not Brian
Now imagine if you'd done all that work to a sports car..
Impact240sx
lol i get that shit all the time so im not bothered by it. Maybe some of you domestic people know BlueCat aka Phill from down here by me in KY. He's a buddy of mine and who's dyno i use. He use to give me shit all the time for my love of imports and not building a v8 lol. Mojoe, thanks for the welcome man. It pulled decent but it wasnt anything a stock ls1 couldn't have pulled on the street. Was hoping for 12.9's on slicks but i never had the chance. If you look at Ohio on the map, the part that points out at the bottom, thats me. He's right. I am originally from the same area, (Ironton). Columbus is just as close. I remember Cinci being a pain in the ass to get to. The road follows the river and goes through a bunch of small towns....takes forever.
