Needed - Company to Rent out my House

I am in the Market to find a company who can manage the Rental of my House.

 

Does anyone have any recommendations, thoughts, comments or concerns?

A company or person? Someone to live in it and maintain it while you are gone or just someone/company to maintain it while tenants are there? Just 1 house or a set of apts?

They're all over Craigslist. I don't have any to recommend because I have always done it myself.

It is a Single Family Free Standing Condo.

 

We are wanting a company to manage the rental of our home to a tenant. I want all communication between the tenant and myself to go through the management company.

I just made a thread about this, apparently they take a huge percentage, and often dont want anything to do with you unless you own a ton of properties.

I rented from a private owner through Advanced realty. They are on east livingston. 3years and they always seemed fair and no issues. If you can't find the # pm me ill find it.

Sadly, unless your payments for the home are well below what it can be rented for, you will lose money monthly with a management company. Wish I could afford to have one with my rental.

Talk to my brother, he just did this when he moved to DC and it's not as much as you'd think.

Joe, aside from a negative position in the condo I disagree with your service comment...my property management company only charges 6%, and my time/money savings having them service tenants for cheap cheap CHEAP goes a long way. I can buy a dishwasher cheaply from ApplianceSmart for $300, but my prop mgt guy bought a new, commercial dishwasher to repair a broken one from my tenant for $160+$35labor!!! Saved me money right there...

I have no complaints about them. IIRC, my fee was $75 per month.
