1998 VW Golf GTI VR6

1998 Golf GTI VR6, 5spd, black leather interior, fully loaded. Car runs and drives well.

Just had the window lift motors replaced, the tensioner and accessory belt replaced. New battery installed. Fresh oil change, spark plugs, air filter. Car will someday need the clutch replaced, and the rear stub axles. And it needs a radio. It has no rust, it was a North Carolina car. It runs and drives perfectly fine as is, but the clutch slips if you are not easy on it. A new clutch online was around $150 and I was told they are pretty easy to change out.

I bought it for a winter car and changed my mind. I decided to go back to something that I know and I am looking at a few porsches and subaru's. :)

Asking $2600 Or best offer.

No, we were originally gonna use it as a winter vehicle and sell in the spring.

We have a 4x4, a minivan, and that will be fine. Plus, we found a Porsche 944 in immaculate condition we're picking up as a weekend car since my Formula is going to be a drag car and her Formula is gonna be setup for road racing.

Still forsale. I have drove it around a bit recently. Its running great, just needs a couple hundred bucks worth of parts and a day or two of work and it would be an excellent car. Price drop to $2600 Or best offer. Need to sell it as we are running out of driveway space. :)
