Evolved8
I wish I could see a quarter of that last tank in the E55 was avg. 10 mpg
Mensan
I think that 10mpg is almost exactly a quarter of that, so...wish granted?
SpaceGhost
When you fill up and do the math yourself I want to see that number, I never trust the computer.

SpaceGhost
I could take a pic of my mom's Prius screen that flashes 100MPG every now and then.
Trouble Maker
Well to be fair that does say average really big on the top of that screen.
Otis Nice
01 Passat averages 34-35 at times. It's not as nice as your car, but the MPG is good. "New" truck? 15-17.

"New" truck? 15-17. yeah...we got a "new" winter beater car - 86 prelude si....thing sucks on gas...like 16-17 mpg....i'm kinda annoyed by that because i like our beater cars to be the ones that get the good gas mileage...we should have bought another metro...they rock on gas! Mark1647545493
Gotta love that Ryan. Nice looking turbo sedan car that gets great MPG's... My Thunderbird Turbo Coupe has been averaging 30mpg city/highway driving. On a trip I took recently I drove 400 miles and averaged 37MPG's

Skinner
I could take a pic of my mom's Prius screen that flashes 100MPG every now and then. I can make my Jeep show 99 mpg but in real life its like 20.
Otis Nice
I can make my Jeep show 99 mpg but in real life its like 20. Coasting up to a light or exit in my Passat it'll show 200.0 MPG.
zeitgeist57
The only thing wrong with your car is it's FWD and not available in a stick...
Mr. Jones
In all honestly nowadays, so long as the car hasn't had a retune/ remap the in dash displays are usually accurate to within 1% or so.
evan9381
still, i would like to see the fill up, drive, fill up and divide miles by gallons. i still expect the MPG to be quite good.
88lx5oh
next tank i will.. depends on how i drive.. if i drive 65 - 68 mph its 33 - 37 if i kick the cruise on 76 - 80 mph ... its like 28 - 29 mpg but everything gets all screwed up with the mpg cause i let the car warm up for 5 min before i leave from the house or work, and let it run a min or 2 before i get out to let the oil run through the turbo. i would say real, true mpg mixed is probably 26 - 33 mixed driving high way and around town.. depending 26 if im crusing at 76 - 80.... and 33 if i do 65 ish
Littleguy
Best I ever got around town in my WRX was 28-29mpg.

If it is, you are just wasting gas. 90K on my VF39 never a turbo timer on it or let it run. Hell I want the fucking thing to die, and it will not! 88lx5oh
dunno, i know its oil cooled lol.. couldnt tell you if it is water cooled
SpaceGhost
You should find out if you are concerned with gas milage, most likely warming it up and letting it run is just wasting gas. I am betting it's an IHI turbo and it is oil and water cooled.
Patterson
Gotta love modern technology. WTF is logging between fill ups and doing the math 40ish in the freeway and low 30's in city. Then again how much fuel can 115hp really use? It'll be a shame when I swap out the stock motor.
SpaceGhost
Well looks like the Genesis uses Mitsu turbos, TD-04, the old 2002 WRX turbos. They were water and oil cooled. Maybe the Sonata uses the Evo X turbo since I am reading it is a twin scroll turbo.
AWW$HEEET
Jeep gets like 15mpg or some shit. I hate life.
88lx5oh
yes its a twin scroll.. so should it be water cooled?
