Doc1647545523
Well, I just bought it. Except I paid $57.50 shipped instead of $74 after shipping that was in Doc's link. Brand new, with box/tags, off of E-bay. That was a good score. I'll be interested how you like the watch and whether you're satisfied with the leather band. Nitrousbird
That was a good score. I'll be interested how you like the watch and whether you're satisfied with the leather band. I have had the watch for a little over two weeks now. Upon getting it and doing some research, I came to find out it is NOT a leather band, but a synthetic (rubber) band. Amazon and a number of other places have it listed wrong - this watch isn't offered with a leather band. I'm not in love with the synthetic band, but it's not bad, and comfortable enough. I love the look of the watch and it wears well. The price was right. My wife also gave me my birthday presents Saturday evening (though my b-d is the 21st). One of the things she got me was this watch: Invicta Men's 7208 Signature Collection Mechanical Skeleton Watch It looks a LOT better in person. The black around the face isn't nearly that dark and looks really good. The inside is more gold than yellow in person, and looks sweet. I still need to buy a sizing tool so I can remove two links. AngryBMW
Do not buy any of the brands mentioned in the first post. Nothing against the brands themselves. I just would not trust their quality in a skelton/automatic. Personally paranoid. MAYBE an INVICTA (but i am not an invicta fan). You dont need to spend 350 for a skeleton. they either tend to be under 150 for cheapies. or about 400-600 for a good brand one. I WOULD REC ORIENT! (wait for the 50% coupons they FREQUENTLY put out for first tiem buyers} http://www.orientwatchusa.com/urban-c-44_47.html Bulova and Kenneth cole also make decent watches... and sell skeletons/openhearts Also, Michael Kors makes a GREAT Quality watch, im sure they have skellies. A reliable "Swatch" brand can be had for under 150.00 Also, look for skeletons with Unitas ETA 6497 movement. Finally, i say just buy one of these.... looks cool as fuck (Panerai homage) CHEAP AS FUCK http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd63/mickmo92/P1080613.jpg http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd63/mickmo92/P1080607.jpg http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd63/mickmo92/P1080597.jpg http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd63/mickmo92/P1080193.jpg CLiffs notes: 1. Bulova 2. Orient (50% off) 3. Michael Kors 4. Kenneth Cole God Damnit I love your watch and cigar taste! I'd love to check our your watch box sometime. I have a few Bulova, one Kenneth Cole, a few Rolex (hate!), Movado, and some fossil/cheapies. I need a Breitling. -Marc
