Here is my buddies 70 P/M Camaro. It should be done about half way through the season. He is a Top Sportsman racer but I think he is gonna make the switch to Pro Nitrous class with ADRL. A lot of the guys we raced Top Sportsman have already made the move to ADRL so a lot of our friends are already running over there.

We build all of our own cars but I did not take part in this one. I have been away from T/S racing for a few years now so I can be here for the family. Its rough always being gone but I really miss this.

What should this run?

He still has the 632 from the last car with 3 systems on it. The Monte Carlo was kind heavy at 2700 lbs and it went 6.89 with a light tune up on it. He has always been conservative but he never hurts parts, where our buddies melt their shit down on a regular basis trying to throw the kitchen sink at it. He says its for sale though so he can get a 715.

This car will be considerably lighter. These pics are about a month old. Now the car has all Carbon Fiber interior, wheel tubs ect. He says 6.teens. We will see though. He knows that if he keeps the 632 he is gonna have to hit it to run those numbers.

Here is the Monte. We built this car from the ground up.

Here is my buddy James car. We built this car from the ground up also. Well we bought the tubing kit from Tim McAmis and we did the rest. Basically all we got was a bunch of pre bent bars. We had to cut and notch everything though.

That tubing looks so small.

We have built several 6 second cars. Im not sure if you know what NHRA and IHRA inspections are like on 6 second car or how much it costs to build one but trust me everything is exactly how it should be. At this level it is literally a life or death thing and a lot of money is involved so mistakes are not an option.

I'm not saying it's smaller than spec. I'm just saying that it looks small.
