TimTaylor751647545500 Posted March 28, 2011 Report Share Posted March 28, 2011 The first sets I'm working on this season are actually sets that I'm donating to the Nationwide Children's Hospital - Kinder Key group. I was approached by a friend who works with Kinder Key to donate two cornhole sets for their annual Denim & Diamonds event. One set will be going to the Children's Hospital for the kids to be able to use. The other set is being auctioned off during the charity event. So far, I've began work on the kids' set that is going to be a stained Oak set with the NCH & Kinder Key logo on the boards. The other set is going to be a stained Ohio State set that will be up for auction. Here are a few progress pictures of the kids' set. The Block O having the border in black and the leaf/buckeye being outlined with a thin black line (to cover the bleed through) would look really good. Also, I may get to be present to present the Kinder Key / NCH set to the staff & kids at Nationwide Children's Hospital which I'm pretty excited about. I spent a good amount of time thinking about how many sick kids may get to play on these boards over the years and its a good feeling to be able to help out, even in this small way. More progress on Steve's Gators boards will be in the next day or so after I change brakes and swap out winter wheels/tires for the summer gear.
