Need: 4.6 key for the crank shaft gear

Not sure the correct name for it but its the key that slides into the crank and holds the cam gear. Need one asap and hope I can find one locally, help

Pretty sure they are built onto the crankshaft itself...at least that's how mine was. Couldn't get the stock one off for the life of me, not that I needed it.

It's a woodruff key, they do come out. The old 4v cars used to break them with aftermarket balancers and the 2 peice bottom gear. Ford is your best bet. My machine shop made one for me a long time ago.

Yea I ended up finding one at ricart so we could start putting the engine together. By the way they fit in there, I dont think they are intended to really come out. It is an aftermarket crank so maybe its spec is a little different than the stock one but it worked

The Ford Part number is F1AZ-6B316-AA. They are $2.74 each, and I'm sure your local dealer can get one for you in less then 3 business days.
