CRAWDAD
Here is some of the inflight video captured when Carl Edwards flew with the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds on March 3rd, 2011, 3 days before he won the Kobalt Tools 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EYoxqEnHVNA
spkcadet
I wish when I got to fly the F-16 it was in an area with mountains like that. however not going to lie, doing some cloud surfing was a blast. Sadly I can only boast like 7g's, because of our setup we couldnt hit 9.

CRAWDAD
Does Edwards know how to fly jets? I know he has his pilot lic. not sure what all he can fly. he does own a plane or 2. It looked like in the video that the pilot let edwards take over for a min.
RedRocket1647545505
Sweet vid, but it's a shame the pilot didn't launch edwards through the canopy ala Goose.
Murse
I noticed that too, that the pilot let Edwards fly. And it sounded like he knew alot of the manouvers and instrumentation.
Science Abuse
I heard some one say "Racecar driver"... but I didn't see any. Who were they talking about. I noticed that too, that the pilot let Edwards fly. And it sounded like he knew alot of the manouvers and instrumentation. Me too, doesn't make me qualified. I'm surprised that let him handle the stick, I thought there were rules about that.
Doug1647545489
Edwards is an experienced pilot. He owns and flys a Citation X. One of the fastest business jets available.
