Guest Hal
Are you asking a tech question? Do you just want a deal on parts?
im faster
I was asking what the difference is between the strut mount and the mate kit.. I THINK the mate kit is only for the rear.. but not sure.. and i was also asking if anyone gets a good deal on them
ODoyle
I think Monroe is still offering the Buy 3 get one Free promotion via Mail in Rebate. Quick Struts are eligible for this promotion. Quick Struts include the strut, spring, and mounting kit. Its all pre assembled for ease of installation. Any local O'Reilly Auto Parts or Monroe Authorized dealer will be able to help you with your problem.

Guest Hal
That's exactly what you think it is, new mounting parts that are prone to wear. I don't recommend replacing pieces like these individually because you are only putting a bandaid on the repair. I would suggest you lube the mounts to eliminate the annoyance of the squeak, check the struts, and replace the whole assembly if necessary. If you replace the whole thing, I've had really good luck with quick struts on OE stuff. How many miles do the struts have on them (approximate)? If you want a deal, ask in the Speed Shop and any number of sponsors should be able to help you out.
im faster
i would assume 150k since it seems NOTHING on this car was ever replaced suspension wise. Oreilly says there is no quick strut avaliable for it.. wtf.. google time
