My goal for this car was to recreate my old 88 CRX Si in a modern day chassis that was safe & would not rust. The Insight is small, lightweight & has an aluminum uni-body so it was the perfect choice. I purchased a used Insight with a bad motor & started looking for a K swap. Since I needed lots of RSX components like wiring harness, axles, spindles, brakes, shift linkage etc I decided to purchase a whole wrecked RSX Type S. This is a clean swap, No problems, no CELs, nothing is cobbled together. Everything works as it should, functioning gauges, ABS, cruise control, & even Immobi works. I did the swap myself back in 2007 & have put 22k problem free miles on it since then.
