Mallard
So a few months ago a guy on the Solstice Forum said he was taking the engine out of his 2JZ swapped S13 and planned to drop it in his Solstice. The last 3 weeks he's been making steady progress, and everythings turning out surprisingly easy. Parts run down: 2JZ swapped oil pan to rear sump stock solstice trans with 1JZ bell housing (bolts right on) Stock 2JZ motor mounts (bolted right to the stock Solstice mounts!) Now he's busy wiring it up, but so far the motor dropped right in. Trans is in the stock location so the shifter didn't even move. Lots of power in a decently designed little roadster doesn't sound like that bad of an idea??

Mallard
It's running. The swap needed a little modification to the car (crossmember grinding, steering rack mods) and the it's come out that the motor mounts weren't a complete drop in, but it still went in pretty easy.
