Mr. Jones
If it has a Northstar, burn it with fire.
2pointslow
If it has a Northstar, burn it with fire. :lolguy: Pretty much this, there are alot better options in its class.
Crossle
Stay away from V6. Oh saw V8, in this case have you driven one? I HATE the way they drive, lots of other better options in my book.
Not Brian
If it has a Northstar, burn it with fire. My mom just traded her le sabre for a northstar caddy.. What exactly is wrong with them?
Mr. Jones
My mom just traded her le sabre for a northstar caddy.. What exactly is wrong with them? They got more improved as the years went on, but just google: "northstart issues" "northstar head gasket" "northstar timesert" I think past 2000, they got some improvements but I wouldn't trust one. zeitgeist57
This is the LH2 engine (2004-07), supposedly much improved over older Northstars. I drove it and really liked the ride. Interior surfaces were early- CTS cheap, but the guts seemed to be really solid. I appreciate the problems older Northstars had, but saying all of them are horrible would be like saying all VAG 1.8Ts suck because earlier/poorly maintained ones had sludge issues.....JONES
Littleguy
I hate the interior quality on those cars, but they do look good.
TTQ B4U
Get AWD for sure. I just flipped a 2006 that I picked up from Florida. V6 RWD Only and even with TC on, in the rain it was twitchy when pushing the power. I never planned on keeping it, but can't imagine it being RWD only that it would be much fun for the wife in winter.
Versluis
get a corvette instead if your lookin at somethin like that. more for your money (depending what you get), but just seems smarter to me
