Nice to see some civilized people in SE MI. Nice to see you again Brian and Ray as well. I'm glad to see he had a good time, ran some #'s and didn't tear anything up.

275 qualifying was really close

#1 5.031

#2 5.032

#3 5.033

My Friend Trace won it with a 5.09 in the final and blew a header tube clean off.

Great day of racing.

There are some FAST Fox Bodies up at Milan... Hinzman pretty much wins every race we go to up there.

How did Ray do?

Lost in the first, he got Jason Lee (who was running in the 5.0s all day.) This was the first time he ran in X275 trim and the car has a ton left in it. I would love to head back up for the next one of these, lot of fun.

Yeah, I was talking to Ray the other day and was saying I wanted to see what his car could do.

I know it will go faster than it has in the past, and believe that the car can run 7's.

Good luck in the 275 class Ray!

Well after he gets the car sorted out on this new setup I think he will be in the top half the field up there most of the time. His last pass was the first one where he was able to build some boost at the line and get it down the track clean. Now it is just a matter of putting all the parts of the run together from the first 60' to the top end :)

Ray needs maor push bar for the golf cart. I hear it's worth 2 tenths at least.

Ray needs a freaking golf cart, pit bike, or something that walking stuff from the starting line to the trailor got old :) I think I walked 5 miles on Saturday night at least!

If he gets one of those side by sides with the thumping boom box it is good for .5 or moar!

What do you mean?

So I am down track taking pics about eh 5 yards behind this guy and about 40 yards infront of another guy. I talked with one guy about where we could take pics and stuff like that (that guy was cool).

The guy I was directly behind walked up to me and asked "who are you shooting for?" and I told him who I was crewing for. He says "well you can't be out here unless you are with the press shooting for someone you are going to have to move. You need to be on the tracks insurance to be out here".

Now he was not a track official, but I was not the time or place to get into a pissing match so I just moved. The last thing needed would be me to get tossed out for getting into a shouting match with this cunt (and the dude was being a cunt, no other word can describe how he acted).

No worries, I have a plan so next time I can shoot where I want. Besides all the racers on Yellowbullet really liked the video.
