NEW PRICE: I want them gone from the trunk of my car

 

$40 Each

 

Two (2) Car Seats available. Newer models. Both have mid to late 2013 expiration dates. Clean and never soiled. Sold new at Babies R Us for $130-$150 each. The Tan one is the Alpine Elite by Dorel Juvenile Group, the black/grey is an Eddie Bauer Deluxe Booster.

 

Both are for forward facing 22-40 lbs, belt-positioning booster 40-100 lbs. They have 3 position headrests that adjusts with harness for a better fit, harness never needs re threading. The up front harness adjustment is convenient for parent to make adjustments. The pivoting armrests and 3 position recline that adjusts with one hand provide added comfort for child. Easy installation clips too.

 

Selling Price $40 Each. Cash only. Call or reply to post. I will consider delivery for CR folks along my route to work as I live in Dublin and work very close to Rickenbacker.

Not having kids - I never knew Car Seats had an expiration date.

 

Why is that?

 

Basically the plastic gets stressed or warped and the straps can stretch.

 

Nice to see someone actually post the dates.

 

Good luck with the sale. That is a great price on nice comfy car seats.

^^ this could be the case, but honestly, I don't see it. IMO, it's a way for seat manufacturers to continue to sell more seats. I mean, these things don't wear out and breakdown in simply a few years. No way. If that were the case, the cheap plastics and seat belts in my car would be toast. It's just their way of introducing FUD into the mix to insure future sales.

 

That's just my opinion though. Hopefully someone finds them a good deal and takes them home.
