gt-titan Posted October 16, 2011 Report Share Posted October 16, 2011 ok i found my new project and im picking it up tomorrow. 96 s10 witha swap...and i just need to know about the tranny it is a 200 r4 tranny never had one never heard of one. and it is stock and rebuilt....is this good or bad... It was also the stock trans in the GN's, however the GN's got better parts to strengthen them like a better valve body. If built properly they will handle a good bit of power however in stock form they won't hold very much. They are one of the lightest RWD tranny that GM made making them popular in builds where weight is a concern, especially since people have learned to make them hold decent power.
