200-4R's came in a lot of 80's RWD GM's more specifically the G-Body. It was also the stock trans in the GN's, however the GN's got better parts to strengthen them like a better valve body. If built properly they will handle a good bit of power however in stock form they won't hold very much. They are one of the lightest RWD tranny that GM made making them popular in builds where weight is a concern, especially since people have learned to make them hold decent power.

so just for a mild street truck and it being behind a 350 with mild cam and 30 over block and stock rear gear it will be fine and a good tranny...
