BoostedAce
Over the next few months.......or years I will be throwing in the towel of the D15, 4-speed for a 4G63 Fwd swap. This is somthing I would love to do since I like Ef hatchs and also 4G63's. I will finish this project and will be doing it myself, minus some fab shops putting together some parts. BoostedAce
So I start out like this, I recieved this honda from my dads good friend that lives in florida for free. I did minor work on the body, the black plastic was very sun faded so I ended up repainting it. As of now it just has skunk2 struts and ground control coilovers. http://i1014.photobucket.com/albums/af262/Boosted_ace/EfHatch2.jpg As you can see the car has been lacking power for 21 years. http://i1014.photobucket.com/albums/af262/Boosted_ace/18AaronEFhatch69whp88wtqcar18.jpg Next week I will be picking up the motor. Its a 6 bolt .20 over motor Buschur Stage 2 block. Micropolished crank Wiseco 9:5:1 comp pistons http://i1014.photobucket.com/albums/af262/Boosted_ace/4G63Block.jpg Head is also a 6 bolt with minor porting. Duel Valve springs & retainers + clips Brian Crower 272's http://i1014.photobucket.com/albums/af262/Boosted_ace/4G63Head.jpg http://i1014.photobucket.com/albums/af262/Boosted_ace/4G63Engine.jpg Tranny is out of a Gst with 80k, I might have to end up using a non turbo 4G63 tranny since they are not as big. ShoMeSomeFun
What did you do to repair the faded plastic? I have a ride that I constantly have to armor all the plastic to temporary relieve the sun-bleaching.
Comebackkid
When you it get finished, you'll have a shit ton of fun. My buddy did this swap about 6yrs ago and I could get a hold of him and see if he still have the mounts, harness, misc parts from it.

PRD2BDF
That car looks clean! I hate modded Hondas mainly because so many people go at it wrong but when it's looking like that, that's when you got my respect.
ShoMeSomeFun
Yea I use the wet shine that you use on tires, didnt realize what I was typing. But thanks for the advice I wasnt aware Armor All was bad for plastics. Sorry for thread-jacking.
Rustlestiltskin
This is basically going to be a 4g63 colt.

BoostedAce
What did you do to repair the faded plastic? I have a ride that I constantly have to armor all the plastic to temporary relieve the sun-bleaching. I ended up using just spray paint, I did have about 6 coats on it, still looks good but starting to lighten up. When you it get finished, you'll have a shit ton of fun. My buddy did this swap about 6yrs ago and I could get a hold of him and see if he still have the mounts, harness, misc parts from it. Please do, I found the biggest problem I will have is axles and harness. Shifter linkage along with hydraulic clutch and mounts should not to be big of a problem. I will be making fmic piping mostly from scratch but I have odds and ends parts to work with. That car looks clean! I hate modded Hondas mainly because so many people go at it wrong but when it's looking like that, that's when you got my respect. I also feel the same way, thanks outside and inside will left alone. This is basically going to be a 4g63 colt. So I need drag radials lol.

BoostedAce
So I guess slowmotion calls me and tells me they don't want to make my mounts? That is just insane they would let a paying customer walk like that. Not to mention all the other parts I was going to buy and have my exhaust made. Squidward
cool project.I wouldn't use the n/a tranny though i tried that in my gst and exploded it pretty quick. This, colt guys have nightmares with the n/a tranys and the stock colt tranys. Ask me how i know. Save yourself some time and money in the long run and buy a good turbo trans or a used shep. Aslo let us know what you need done as far as the mounts go.
