ghost1647545489
I am on the fence on weather to trade to porsche in for a new STI. The 06 STI is the only car I have regretted getting rid of. Just not sure if its the right choice. and go.......
Littleguy
If it was a 911 I'd say no, but a Coxter I'd be more inclined to say yes depending on what you are looking to get out of a sports car.
Aaron
Stis are nice, but lots of cars out there for 35 to 42k...
Not Brian
You could get a Honda Pilot for that much
Mr. Jones
I would NEVER trade a Boxster for a Subaru. Mind you , if you drive the Boxster like an old lady 99% of the time, perhaps he Subaru is for you, but what a waste.
BStowers023
Like "Littleguy" said, it all depends on what you want out of your sports car. Pretty much every performance category goes to the STI>Boxster. But their are a lot of other sports cars out there for that price range. Versluis
If it is a boxter s and you plan do to some mods to it keep it and be different. if not i would say sti all day but the sedan version. but to each their own.
ghost1647545489
Not an S but it only has 45k miles on it. I just get the car bug a lot

Straight line, sure the sti is faster. Handling and braking, not even close.

People are doing all kinds of boxster swaps nowadays. 911 swapped Boxster > 911 :fuckyeah:
ghost1647545489
Well just the four door aspect and all wheel drive. I still like my boxster a lot, but always looking for something else . I also like the Audi s4 but a bit out of price range at this moment, new atleast
MrMeanGreen
Don't buy a Subaru. I'm telling you from experience.
Not Brian
what was so bad about your Legacy that makes all Subarus junk? I had a horrible experience with Subaru also but I'm pretty sure it was just the car..
MrMeanGreen
Lots of things. But not just the Legacy, remember that I married into SVXs as well. See the trend? Old or new, NA or FI, parts availability, pricing, and overall reliability sucks.

Got-Boost?
What are your plans for it? Is the Boxter paid for? You could get into a used C6 Z06 like everyone else for that price...
Patrick
What are you missing from the STi that your not getting from the boxster? This is an important question to ask yourself.
Versluis
You could always swap a GT3 front end on that thing.... http://houston-imports.com/forums/showthread.php?t=631842 **correction, if it would fit

Mensan
Isn't that what a cayman is? No, Cayman and Boxster have the same engine, and both are superior chassis (for a driver) than the 996/7. The Cayman is a Boxster with a fixed roof. KillJoy
The Cayman is a Boxster with a fixed roof. You forgot the fact it looks sexy as hell, too! KillJoy
