Stuck in lancastor with a bent rim in a VW Passat and no spare. Is there anyone close willing to sell a spare(5x112)? Will pay for gas to bring it out.

Are you sure its not 5x115, if it is I got a spare for a pontiac you could use, rim is bent but drivable (spare for the wifes car) also I don't get off work till almost 11 but if you need it I could prolly help out

My friend traded his civic(which has a common bolt pattern of course) to another friend's cousin for this Passage, and that guy said it had the spare in it. We hit a pot hole and bent the rim, went to change the wheel and of course it want there.

Alright, we went to a junkyard in Lancastor to try and locate some wheels and couldn't find anything that "actually" fit. We picked up a Toyota Camry wheel and it was "close enough" - 5x4.5(114.3). Definitely not safe in any way, shape, or form - especially with fawkin lug bolts instead of studs - but it made it home. Had to put it in the rear since it has a fawkin 44" Bogger on it(*obvious exaggeration*).

 

Thanks for the offers though, was worth a shot. Still looking for a VW Passat wheel if anyone has one for sale. PM me if anyone has one they want to get rid of.

Wheels should be 5x112. What wheel is it you are looking for? VWvortex might be a good place to look since they have a ton of stuff, or any major VW junkyard should have it. Other local sites are OhioVW.com and SWOV.org(privite still I think)
