Kurt B.
lol im going to start small and see how addicted to it i get, i know my dad had some crazy designs when i was a kid. i was looking online and i liked the drag stip they had set up but i doubt i wanna spend 139.99 on a straight line when i can build that plus a coarse. im going to stop by toys r us on polaris after work and see if they have anything Hobbyland is your best bet, they have it all, i even have an adaptor that let you link tyco tracks to axf stuff, they had better high bank sections, and spirals, this is making me want to go to home depot and buy some wood to make some more tables. Crossle
Robby's Hobby's on High street near Weisheimer street. Right across the street from Beechwold Ace Hardware. They have a bunch of new/used 1/32 cars from back in the day. As well as the larger scale cars/track. Plus it's a home grown shop, gotta love small business. starkmaster03
I have this exact setup if you are interested. It is all in the box so I would have to put it together to make sure it is still all there. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_3_lyZ6LTI

starkmaster03
I have no idea what they are going for. I'll have to check if all the pieces are there and if the cars even work. If you or Phil are really interested I'll put it together.

starkmaster03
Flex part? the striped circle? Any ways I took it out of the box and the complete track is there. Both cars and one controller is missing as well as a few of the stands that hold the track up at certain areas.
LS_Sonoma
1/24th scale is where its at. The Hobbytown here in Indy has over 1000 combined of both scales in stock though, might be worth a trip. Back in the day in Owensboro. Ky. there was a shop that hand built cars with tube frames and shit. They also had a drag track that was prepped. Cool stuff when youre 10. I'd like to get into it as well. I have recenty started buying a bunch of this stuff (1/24 scale). It is setup just like real drag racing at the track. Bracket/index/heads up classes. you can buy cars already built or build your own. Bunch of differant chassis/motor/body combonations. http://www.speedy-o-raceway.com/ average car runs about 45-50mph in 55ft and 1.1xx seconds. some of the fastest i have seen online run .5xx at over 100mph. a friend had a car there this weekend that went .749@73mph the sme guy has been .701@103mph with a hardbody car. (a body off a model car you buy at Kmart, not lexan) My fastest car has been 1.021@48mph with a $15 motor. for this scale of drag racing just move the decimal point one spot to the right. so I ran a 10.21@48mph I have only been doing this for 3 weeks now, $3 to enter a car into a race. Usually you can enter up to 10 cars, depends on how many people are there. here are a few car I have bought off of ebay. http://i.ebayimg.com/t/07-SHELBY-GT500-DRAG-SLOT-CAR-/00/s/NzY4WDEwMjQ=/$(KGrHqIOKpsE6TY8FhwyBOtDVQq3oQ~~60_3.JPG http://i.ebayimg.com/t/34-Rat-Rod-Altered-/00/s/NzY4WDEwMjQ=/$(KGrHqV,!g0E6ZCwQ)wpBOsdlp5V9g~~60_3.JPG the US Marines is the body only, I still need to get a chassis/motor for it. http://i.ebayimg.com/t/JDS-promord-prostock-Styrene-Body-Drag-Car-1-24-/00/s/NjUzWDE1MjA=/$(KGrHqMOKiEE6W!tEp8,BOvZeK030g~~60_12.JPG http://i.ebayimg.com/t/Custom-Painted-Ford-Mustang-/00/s/MTE5NVgxNjAw/$(KGrHqR,!lgE5uuTHB48BOueZbyk8Q~~60_12.JPG http://i.ebayimg.com/t/Wolf-Foxbody-Mustang-/00/s/NzY0WDEwMjQ=/$(KGrHqIOKiYE6Lc9Or4wBOu8rq20lg~~60_12.JPG http://i.ebayimg.com/t/93-Cobra-Foxbody-Mustang-/00/s/NzY0WDEwMjQ=/$(KGrHqQOKjwE6ngy7(uKBOue5FyH1!~~60_12.JPG

phil
http://i220.photobucket.com/albums/dd135/pwoodland/efe5f006.jpg We are starting slow, got about 100 ft of track, only 4 cars. 2 are slow the other two arnt as slow but still slow. Hoping to get this one we got off Chad done and working this week. It's been sitting for a while so we have to clean it but he got us around 60-70ft for cheap. It's wasted a good amount of my weekend and that was the plan.

CRAWDAD
Do you have a picture of the chassis on the fwd integra? We were just talking about trying to make an awd car. If I could see how you set up the fwd part I might be able to come up with something.
