Littleguy
Royal Purple oil/filter on the GTO, high-mileage conventional oil/fram filter on the Lexus.
zeitgeist57
HOLY SHIT, AND YOU'RE ORIGINAL.... LOL @ Farkas. I'm assuming Jones is searching other forums for clever comebacks. :gabe: I use Mobil1 in all the newer cars. For diesel Cleetus, I run either Rotella, or Detroit Diesel oil. For the Ford I'm not sure yet, as the engine builder says that I should be using something with a high concentration of ZDDP...

Mr. Jones
:marc: No come-backs. Being Farkas is bad enough. I don't need to make it worse than it already is. :fa: <

Patrick
Zee germans. Anyone know a good alternative to 10w30 for my jeep? Feel like it needs somethin heavier for high milage. Something with a good amount of ZDDP, supposedly. I use whatever the fuck is on sale, found in the garage or is given to me. 204,000 '00 4.0 and is fine. Purolator or Wix filter. copperhead
Shell Rotella T straight 30W in everything with Purolator gold filter. Gotta love that zinc. I've heard of people running Rotella in gas engines. Does it help higher mileage cars in some way? And if I were to convert from my normal 10w40, what weight would I want to go with?
