Berto
Post your holiday themed photos! Snapped this one tonight of my friends baby girl. The iso was cranked up due to the low lighting and no tripod. I touched up the picture did some dodging and burning to try to highlight the ornament and the light on the baby's face, also burned the back a bit to isolate the effect of a dark room. Thoughts? http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c192/BertoBizkit/Fred%20Miranda%20Forum%20Entries/Berto%20Photography/Misc%20Photography/KenliXmas2.jpg
TTQ B4U
Looks great! I would just add some cross-star effect taylored to your liking and then straighten up the background wall/ornament and pop in a touch of glow to soften it even further. Lastly I added a touch of Bokeh to further isolate the child. Call it my frustration with Crop Sensor shots. I hope you enjoy. http://www.pbase.com/timothylauro/image/140067146/original.jpg

Twistedrx7
I would have done maybe one or two star actions, little overkill however awesome picture none the less
mmrmnhrm
I would have done maybe one or two star actions, little overkill however awesome picture none the less IMHO, if you do just a little bit on all the lights, it looks more natural than doing big crosses on just a couple. The action can run 8 different versions simultaneously too so you get to choose which you prefer. Of course each can then be further tailored. Berto
Just as an exercise I straightened it, I added some brightness back into it, and more importantly I got those actions to work! http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c192/BertoBizkit/Fred%20Miranda%20Forum%20Entries/Berto%20Photography/Misc%20Photography/KenliXmas2srightened2cross-star.jpg For anyone interested in getting actions to work in elements 9 these 2 are very good links on how to: http://everydayelementsonline.com/2011/01/installing-actions-photoshop-elements/ http://www.texaschicksblogsandpics.com/photography-page/installing-actions-in-photoshop-elements/install-actions-in-pse-9-on-windows-7/ Thanks a bunch Tim for those actions!
