Cordell
Yes to those of you who know me this is the car I bought back in october, I love the car but have bought another one. It's a Mariner Blue 1991 Miata, this has the vicous diff, long nose 1.6L engine (not the short nose that had issue). Aside from some rust (which is not structural) it is in good working order, since I bought I put a new clutch and flywheel in it, and replaced the calipers, pads, and rotors. I have put 6-7k miles on it and changed the oil twice. Currently has 145k miles. I have been driving it a lot without issue. I just don't want to have 4 cars to care for. I'm going to ask $2000obo because thats what I have in it, I'll gladly entertain any reasonable offer. I recently bought snow tires on steelies for it so they are brand new, but the original wheels will come with the car they have good tread on them as well. What the car needs is the suspension bushings replaced, none of them are falling out but the eccentrics to adjust the alignment are frozen in them and they are 20 years old. The top is pretty beat up, but for the right money I'll include the hardtop off the newer car. http://i405.photobucket.com/albums/pp133/ND2RACE/Miata%20Autocross/miata015.jpg http://i405.photobucket.com/albums/pp133/ND2RACE/Miata%20Autocross/miata013.jpg http://i405.photobucket.com/albums/pp133/ND2RACE/Miata%20Autocross/Miata002.jpg edited for pictures and a little more info Edited February 12, 2012 by Cordell

Cordell
The suspension is tight, the shocks are not blown, the tires still have good tread on them, although they are just Primewells. The rust is in all the typical Miata places where the top drains in the back of the rocker and the cowl drains in the bottom of the front fender. The floor pans are rust free and the frame rails (if thats what you call the steel under the middle of the car) are in good shape. From I can tell the inner rockers and sill pates are fine. There is a small company making patch panels for these areas that are bad. The top isn't the greatest, as you can see the top of the back window is torn loose. Let me know if you're interested and we can work out something.
Cordell
Okay, I don't need 4 cars to take care of and pay for, so this one needs to go. Everything is negotiable, I can keep the snow tires, we can work out a good price, please PM for anything you'd like to know.
Patrick
Price still stands at $2000/OBO? How much might a top replacement run?
Cordell
Price still stands at $2000/OBO? How much might a top replacement run? Tops can vary on these from $200-$500 or so for the top, but it would still have to be installed. Planet Miata has a deal where for $600-$700, depending on what type top you want, you can get a new top installed on a used frame ready to bolt on, and last I checked shipping was free. Just depends on which route someone would want to go. Used hardtops go for about $1000. The price is very negotiable depending on if someone wants snow tires, it would be more then $2000 if someone wants the hardtop from the other car. I'm willing to be flexible, I just have to state an asking price. Now as I just told Gabe, $700 isn't going to cut it.
