TTQ B4U
What are the chances he called and setup insurance in those 7 hours? I'm guessing none. Here in Ohio you're covered as you have a specified amount of time to notify your insurance company. Not sure about Utah or his policy. I'm guessing none. +1 +1 Here in Ohio you're covered as you have a specified amount of time to notify your insurance company. Not sure about Utah or his policy. Dopp says the vehicle had full insurance coverage and that it is on its way to Las Vegas now where Lamboghini specialists will determine repair costs. :dumb:

Mensan
He'll still have to pay taxes on the prize, it should only be about 40% of the cars value though.
Flyin Miata
Here in Ohio you're covered as you have a specified amount of time to notify your insurance company. Not sure about Utah or his policy. You have 30 days to add the vehicle effective the day you got it, but you must already have a policy, that policy must be able to insure a Lamborghini (not all personal policies will), and whatever car he had insured needs to have full coverage in order for him to be covered on damages when he gets around to adding it. If you have a junker at just liability, then add a new car 20 days after you buy it and want full coverage, the full coverage itself is only effective the day you call to add it. If you got in an accident in those 20 days and need to fix your vehicle, you're SOL. Edited December 21, 2011 by Flyin' Miata
